Our Black Lives Matter Vigil

As Unitarian Universalists, we affirm the inherent worth and dignity of every person. We are called by leaders within our faith community to live up to that claim by working toward a future in which black lives are truly valued in our society.

We are aligned with the Movement for Black Lives because we share the common goal of building a society in which black people thrive instead of survive. Indeed, countering oppression in all of its forms is central to our work as people of faith.

River Road supports the “Black Lives Matter” movement through public witness, action, education and partnership, and we invite you to join both the conversation and work alongside us

Vigils are held on Fridays, 6-7pm, Corner of Whittier Blvd. & River Road. Join us – practicing physical distancing and wearing masks!
