Congregational life is about connection — connection to the deep part of ourselves and to others in this community.
The opportunities to make a connection are varied as the needs and hopes of the individuals who call RRUUC their spiritual home. See what might work for you to do the same:
Adult Small Groups are groups of 6-12 people focusing on a common interest or practice. They meet once or twice a month for deeper discussion and relationship-making.
Activity Groups are drop in and can be of varying sizes, providing fun, fellowship, and engagement on a variety of themes.
All Ages Activities provide fun, fellowship, and relationship-making not only to each other but to the idea of River Road too.
High School Activities We invite high school students to extend their social involvement beyond Sunday mornings in a number of opportunities for youth to interact with social justice, our faith, and each other.
Adult Spiritual Development Classes are distinct, shorter term engagements exploring a specific topic and following a scripted lesson plan. Includes classes held here or offered by others that meet our vision for you. Some are free and others are fee-based.
Volunteer Opportunities Many people find volunteering one of the most rewarding aspects of congregational life. We host plenty of opportunities for volunteers to support both our congregation and our outer communities.
Congregational Care, provided by members and congregational staff, facilitates compassionate and responsive support during significant life events.
