Fear in Small Doses

Poets, tale-tellers, and philosophers have long known that scary stories touch something foundational in the developing mind. Some hold that fear in small doses is a necessary part of the experience of the sacred. What do scary stories teach us about ourselves? Are there certain darkened corridors that are exactly the right ones to venture down, even or especially in times of deep uncertainty or pain in this world?

All ages are invited to come to RRUUC in costume. Children will have Halloween activities to enjoy including a Haunted Forest created by our middle school class.
