RRUUC is entering a Year of Reset with regard to our relationship with a warming planet. In 2020 we formally agreed to recertify as a Green Sanctuary Congregation, and that commitment depends on all of us to participate. At the Ingathering Service on September 11, we’re recommending these “beginner-level” actions to start reducing your household CO2 emissions right away. If you are already doing all these things in your household, you can click the “ALL DONE!” button. That will help us collect data on where we are as a congregation, and then we’ll send you information about our “intermediate-level“ Climate Reset Workshop in October, where we’ll also address larger systemic and policy approaches to reversing global warming. We’ll be scheduling several different sections of this 4-week workshop so that almost everyone can find one that fits their needs – watch this space!
