Historically, Unitarian Universalism has been a “this worldly” faith, interested in salvation and justice in this world and not the next one. In current times, however, our congregations find their best work by offering a counter narrative to the world as it is. What is RRUUC’s counter narrative of love, connection and service in our struggling world?
Rev. Megan Foley serves as Regional Lead for the Central East Region staff, and primary contact in supporting our DC area congregations. Before joining regional staff, she served for six years as the minister of the Sugarloaf Congregation of Unitarian Universalists in Germantown, Maryland. Before that, she was an intern right here at River Road. Megan and Neil still live in Silver Spring and their two boys go to the University of Maryland. Go Terps!
