As we approach the 100th anniversary of the first flower communion, which took place in a time of great violence and struggle, we gather again to exchange flowers of hope. Bring a blossom from your home, store, or neighborhood – and take one in return. Together, we remember that beauty persists even in the rubble.
Note: This service will be live, outside on the River Road Plaza. We will not be livestreaming online but encourage online attendees to join services with our sister congregation, Cedar Lane Unitarian Universalist, at 11:00.
