Looking Back, Looking Forward

Hi River Roaders,

It’s been a year. A whole long, lonely, lengthy year since we had our last “in person” Sunday service on March 5, 2020. The March 12 eWeekly said that we were suspending in person services until April 1st…

In discussions with Sheri, we thought it would be good to help folks stay connected to our spiritual home, and the first Grounding blog was published on April 7, 2020. This week we’ll take a look back at the first season of blog posts thru early June. I’m not sure if this is looking backwards or looking forwards. Probably both.

“Glories of the Snow” from the April 7 blog , “Breaking Ground”.

Trout lilies from the April 15 blog, “Peak Spring”.

Jack-in-the-Pulpit from the April 22 blog, “Earth Day”.

Fresh Christmas Fern fronds from the April 29 blog, “April Showers”.

Lush Jewelweed growing by the springs from the May 6 blog “In a New Light”.

Spiderwort from the May 14 blog, “May Flowers”.

A cedar waxwing from the May 21 blog, “Wings Set Me Free”.

White violets from the May 26 blog, “A Closer Look”.

Ohio Buckeye flowers from the June 3 blog, “Flower Communion”.
