Danny Turner joined River Road Unitarian Universalist Congregation (RRUUC) in December 2020 amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, initially as an A/V Technician. His dedication and expertise led to his promotion to A/V Coordinator in October 2023.

Danny’s career began in 1984 in the telecommunications field, working with the Association of American Railroads in D.C., where he spent 14 years before transitioning to NEC and Verizon for 26 years. Danny retired from Verizon in 2019.

Danny’s love for music started as a young 12-year-old, listening to various genres of music from the records his mother bought for him frequently. He began to take drum lessons shortly afterwards, playing through his teen years. Danny eventually ventured into DJ’ing and producing rap music in 1988. Danny founded his DJ company in 2000, Wheels of Steel Productions; offering DJ services for schools, corporate events, weddings, and parties. In 2013, he and his wife Sandi established Millennial-X Entertainment, expanding their services to include DJing, lighting, venue enhancements, and later adding photobooth services.

Danny Turner continues to merge his technical expertise with his passion for music and entertainment, creating memorable experiences through his innovative approach and dedication to his craft.
