Most Sundays at River Road Unitarian Universalist Congregation, a 25- to 30-minute sermon is delivered by one of our ministers. We have recently installed a camera to allow webcasting of the services. Due to privacy concerns, full services are only available to members and friends. However, samples of recent sermons are available to anyone.

Our Senior Minister, Rev. Scott W. Alexander, has been a minister and preacher for over 30 years, has regularly taught preaching at the seminary level to other ministers, has written a book on preaching entitled "The Welcoming Pulpit" and is regularly asked to preach in leading pulpits around the denomination. His sermons are known for their energy and depth.

Rev. Ginger Luke, Minister of Religious Education and Congregational Life has been a religious professional leader for more than 25 years, and was ordained into the ministry in 2002.
