Music Outreach

The RRUUC Music Outreach Program brings the joy of music to the community in and around Washington, DC. The program's dozen-plus members — talented singers and instrumentalists — have performed before hundreds of community residents on more than 20 occasions at seven venues since the program was created in the spring of 2006. Musical styles include classical, show tunes, jazz, popular, and folk. The program to date has focused mainly on assisted living homes in the greater Washington area, including several where RRUC members reside.
