March 14th, 2010 "The Battle for Social Security: The Newest Chapter" Nancy J Altman, J.D.

Dr. Altman is an author, a former professor at the Kennedy School at Harvard.and has a unique perspective as a scholar and former high level government appointee who has spent her career in the field. She will be bringing some of her expertise to share with us historically, as well as bringing us up to the current dilemma regarding this effective and popular government program. She is currently the Co-Director of Social Security Works, a newly formed NGO.

Peter Wilson, who is a perennial favorite of our CC&C fans, will return with a summary of the first year of the Obama Administration, and how it has handled many of the Security Challenges to our nation that have arisen so far, and and what are the major upcoming issues that they will have to deal with. Peter is one of the "insiders" concerning national security issues and speaks with great authority and expertise on these topics. He has been with the Rand Corp for over 20 years.
