Register Your Child
All children, including babies, must be registered.
Registration forms are available outside the RE office in the foyer or on the Web site here. Please fill out a form even if you are not a member. Be sure to share with us any special needs your child may have.
Volunteer
Join a teaching team. Help with a special event. Join the Children’s Religious Education Committee. Volunteer opportunities are listed on the registration form. The success of our program depends upon volunteers and their contributions. Let us know about your specific talents, skills, or interests.
Contribute Financial Support
There is no registration fee for the religious education program. We do ask each family to pledge or financially contribute to the church's general operating fund, as you are able.
Families who register their children and who have not pledged to the general fund of the church will be invited to do so shortly after registering.
All families who participate in any church program are contacted during our spring stewardship campaign and asked to support the annual pledge drive, which in turn funds our Religious Education Ministries.
Bring Your Child Regularly
Regular attendance on Sundays facilitates a sense of community and allows your child to receive the cumulative effect of our planned curriculum.
Take Interest in Your Child's Class
Visit your child's classroom on Sunday. Examine the class theme outlines, which are sent to the home of each registered child. Introduce yourself to your child's teachers, so you can greet them, thank them for their time and caring, and converse with your child about class.
Share Your Beliefs and Activities with Your Child
It is important for your children to know some of your religious views and to be informed about your involvement with RRUUC.
