Most people can name the gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John which are the first books of the Christian New Testament. But what is in these books? Who wrote them, when, and why? Modern scholarship tells us much about these writings and also reveals that there are many other gospels which were not chosen to be in the Bible.

This half-day seminar is designed to introduce newcomers to our faith and congregation in a small-group setting. Meet some of our members and ministers, get a lesson in the history and beliefs of Unitarian Universalism, and get an overview of our many activities from social action to family worship. It's also an excellent opportunity for you to consider what you’re looking for in a religious community and to get answers to questions you may have about the denomination or this congregation.
Morning coffee and lunch are provided, as is childcare as long as you register in advance.
