Second Friday of the Month
6:00pm to 9:00pm in the Fellowship Hall
Experience the Fun!
Are you the type to choose Boardwalk and Park Place when playing Monopoly due to the high rental income or would you rather choose different properties based on the colors or names of the properties? When playing Jenga, are you risk averse or do you find yourself making risky, yet, reckless choices when pulling out the Jenga piece during your turn? Better yet, do you prefer a more interactive, intellectual game of Scrabble?
During Family Games Night, experience fun and fellowship with other families while taking a trip back to the old fashioned way of playing board games, card games and checkers. Even more challenging, can you imagine a world with no electronics? To answer these questions, attend an upcoming Family Games Night and experience some family togetherness for kids of ALL ages.
Family Game Nights are held every second Friday night of the month, in the Fellowship Hall, 6:00pm to 9:00pm. We order pizza once the group has formed and ask families to please bring either an appetizer or dessert to share.
Please plan to attend! This year's dates are: November 13, December 11, January 8, February 12, March 12, April 9 and May 14.
If you are interested in hosting at one of these dates, or if you have any questions, please contact Karen Mclaughlin to sign up. Hosting is fun, and rewarding.
Parental Advisory: Once your children come the first time, they are hooked! Your children will constantly be asking you when the next Family Games Night will be -- even as you are leaving the parking lot after a night of fun! Truthfully, it won't be just the kids wanting to come back for more since your own inner child will be begging you for another Jenga challenge!
