For many people a major reason they join and continue to participate at RRUUC is the community formed by the members.  As a religious community, RRUUC cares for members in times of crises or life transition with pastoral care, and individual help.  In addition, the RRUUC community provides social gatherings for adults and children.

Within RRUUC is a vibrant fine arts community that provides a place for artists to grow, and provides the overall community with art shows and events.

Smaller social groups form based on stage of life (young adults, retirees), interests (hiking, books), or living area.

Several all-congregation community events happen each year, including the fall retreat, the winter bazaar, the fellowship dinner, and the spring services auction.
